User-Agent: Mozilla/5.0 (Windows; U; Win98; en-US; rv:1.8.1.3) Gecko/20070309 Firefox/2.0.0.3 Build Identifier: Mozilla/5.0 (Windows; U; Win98; en-US; rv:1.8.1.3) Gecko/20070309 Firefox/2.0.0.3 Long Firefox 2.0 searches on Ebay are either incomplete, or require multiple reboots to sometimes complete! Netscape 7 or 8 DO NOT have this problem! This is a FIREFOX 2 DEFECT! Until this is fixed, DO NOT USE FIREFOX 2 ON EBAY! Reproducible: Always Steps to Reproduce: 1.Use Firefox 2+ 2.Load EBAY 3.Make LONG SEARCHES Actual Results: Works same on ALL my win98 & XP computers! Expected Results: Incomplete Firefox 2.0/Ebay searches. Some can complete with many researches. Some NEVER! Go back to old Firefox versions that worked! Or use Netscape 7-8.

Did you also test this in Firefox's -safe-mode? http://kb.mozillazine.org/Safe_Mode_(Firefox)

Firefox safe mode eliminates problem. Why do I need the regular mode? Thanks, lqueen6@netscape.net

The Firefox safemode is just the normal Firefox but without installed addons (and themes). You can now disable the addons one by one to find the addon that breaks Firefox.

When I do a search at Ebay the results take me to an Ebay type of some kind all in an oriental language and symbology. Can't correct
