"View Stored Passwords" dialog on 5.1.00 AM Linux builds evidences the following problems: * Tabs are displayed as text labels * Buttons are displayed towards top of page, on top of text labels * List of sites & user names aren't displayed. e.g. it looks a bit like the File Picker. Not sure if it's the same underlying bug?
Same for cookie viewer. Updating status line. Ben said he thought he knew what the problem was and would take care of it. Reassigning.

In case it's not obvious, this is a regressoin that occured over the week-end.
Wallet previewer (dialog when you do a prefill form safely) has same problem as well. What do all of these dialogs have in common? They all use trees.

this is cross-platform... what shoulda happened was reopening either bug 37120 or bug 37122, which is for upgrading the xul for these dialogs. imho. :-)

addendum: it does look worse on linux than on winNT or mac, though.
No, it's not 37120/37122. The xul in the dialogs have been upgraded. Now xul itself is hosed. It's no longer a problem with these specific dialogs. Linux is worse? What could be worse? It's practically non-existent on NT -- the tabs appear as just text (although you can click on them) and the lists themselves are missing. What's left to lose?
Got it. Looks like we now need <div> around trees, otherwise they don't display. Sounds like a xul bug to me. But by adding the divs, the three viewers here are no longer broken. So I'm closing this out. If someone wants to pursue the more general xul bug, that should be done in a separate bug report. Changes were in CookieViewer.xul, SignonViewer.xul, and WalletPreview.xul.
BTW, the tab problem vanished by itself. Somebody must have checked in some changes today that fixed that. The <div> fix that I made above was for the tree problem.

the View Stored Passwords dialog was checked as part of the smoketests today and I can verify that they were fixed for all three platforms with the 2000050909 builds. I leave it to sairuh to triple check the other diaogs and mark this verified :-)
