I recently found out about number boxes. It'd be nice to change the port number and max results boxes in the ldap preferences to number boxes to enforce a little bit of validation on those prefs. This would also go part way to fixing bug 338575.

Slightly better - removes the spin buttons as they're not really useful in these cases.
