I hit this first trying to set up more recurrences on an event - it would only let me edit that specific event I'd clicked on, and then also when trying to delete multiple events for exceptions - right clicking deselected all the events but the one I'd clicked on.

This is probably a result of bug 376167. There is some discussion on that bug how recurrence handling of selected items should be done post-0.5. This will be taken care of then.

Same as Bug 377494?

I don't think so. The original comment is talking about number of dialogs that open. Although there are a few comments about other things, maybe it's changed? If it is the same I'd recommend duping that one forward. Whatever happens with "edit item" though, "right click -> delete" should remove all selected events.

Still valid for Mozilla/5.0 (Windows; U; Windows NT 5.1; en-US; rv:1.8.1.13pre) Gecko/20080215 Calendar/0.8pre Steps to reproduce: 1. Create two events 2. Select both events 3. Right-Click and select "Edit Selected Event..." Result: Only one Edit Event dialog is displayed Expected: Two Edit-Event dialogs should be displayed. One for each of the selected events.

There should possibly be UI when opening multiple dialogs. A small number (i.e <10 dialogs) is ok to be opened at once, but in case the user selected all of his 1000 events and then accidentally chose edit, then it will probably hang the application. A dialog asking the user if he really wants to open 1000 event dialogs might be appropriate.

oops, sorry I didn't find this one. So as I said on the other page, keyboard shortcuts such as "del", still work with multiple selection, only contextual menu key/right clic are broken and cancel multiple selection.
(In reply to Philipp Kewisch [:Fallen] from comment #6) > There should possibly be UI when opening multiple dialogs. +1
