Summary: sync support for Pocket PC even on Linux platform → sync support for Pocket PC even on Linux platform (PDA)
I use CalDAV for calendar sync. Installed davical on a linux machine - configured several desktops (Linux and Windows) plus my android smartphone (http://dmfs.org/caldav/ -> apps market). Works like a charm! Soon offline sync mode will be available too (https://bugzilla.mozilla.org/show_bug.cgi?id=380060)
This is out-of-scope for Lightning as there exist other solutions for syncing calendar data nowadays.
