If the sub-folders are individually also selected as a favourite, they are available as a favourite but not with the sub-folder tree structure maintained in the favourite views. This causes a problem if there are sub-folders of multiple parent folders with the same child name because it is not possible to identify which folder is which in the favourite folders view. I can't understand how this can be a bug. A folder is a folder. A subF is a subF. If marking a folder favourite marked all subfolders as favourite, I would have reported this as a bug. There is nothing to fix here.
