It is possible to install SeaMonkey without the mail-client or other stuff. Why isn't it possible to install SeaMonkey without the browser!?

The browser is an integral part providing the whole backend for all components and so cannot be deselected. There are standalone solutions similar to the Mozilla Suite / SeaMonkey components (like Thunderbird, NVU/KompoZer).
