I am getting this error after having problem with Vista that required Dell support and had to go back to a better configuration.  When I click on Mozilla Firefox on the screen, i get this error ** TypeError: Component.classes[cid] has no properties **.  Also, inside the program, if i click on a picture to grab it and sometimes makes it bigger i get the same error *** TypeError:  Component.classes[cid] has no properties ***

Reproducible: Always

Steps to Reproduce:
1.Open up Mozilla Firefox
2.or Click on picture when browsing
3.



Not produce an error before loading the page.

The error occurs by just opening the browser to my homepage - yahoo.com. 

When you go to http://news.yahoo.com/s/nm/20070424/lf_nm/cars_theft_dc and click on the picture in the upper left of las vegas w/ fireworks i get this error.  After clicking the "Alert!" the picture does open up.  Hope this helps!  Thanks.

This bug was reported on Firefox 2.x or older, which is no longer supported and will not be receiving any more updates. I strongly suggest that you update to Firefox 3.6.3 or later, update your plugins (flash, adobe, etc.), and retest in a new profile. If you still see the issue with the updated Firefox, please post here. Otherwise, please close as RESOLVED > WORKSFORME

No reply, INCOMPLETE. Please retest with Firefox 3.6.x or later and a new profile (http://support.mozilla.com/kb/Managing+profiles). If you continue to see this issue with the newest firefox and a new profile, then please comment on this bug.
