I would think that experimental builds don't have talkback for the same reason hourly builds don't have talkback. Bug 313050

maybe a dupe of Bug 378746 ?
One problem would be telling reports from the two builds apart. AFAIK the User-Agent and so on is identical in the Places build, and also the BuildID since both nightlies are configured to start in the 4th hour of the day. Perhaps these can be overcome, but it would be good if the Places team could comment on whether Talkback would be useful or not.
Yes, we'd have no way of telling the builds apart, unless we change the experimental builds to start their nightlies at a wildly different time. Even then, there would be no guarantee. I'm pretty sure that we explicitly turned Talkback *off* on these builds precisely because they are experimental and the builds themselves were intermittently broken for a long time. Are these builds stable enough now and/or crashing in ways that normal trunk builds aren't (enough so to warrant enabling Talkback)? Since this is trunk code, does it make sense to enable Talkback or wait for Breakpad to land?
It makes more sense to make these the default builds once stable enough. I thought "Breakpad" was for Mac only. Is there a link to it? That said, why not just do a different user agent if that is the desired effect?
For Talkback, this is WONTFIX, because we can't disambiguate between experimental builds and nightly builds. We can on Breakpad, and we've done this already (for the Textframe builds).
