User-Agent: Mozilla/5.0 (Windows; U; Windows NT 5.1; en-US; rv:1.8.1.2) Gecko/20070222 SeaMonkey/1.1.1 Mnenhy/0.7.5.0
Build Identifier: Mozilla/5.0 (Windows; U; Windows NT 5.1; en-US; rv:1.8.1.2) Gecko/20070222 SeaMonkey/1.1.1

The cited page is using a "sniffer" that might also cause problems for Firefox, Camino, and other Mozilla products, except for old versions that were called Mozilla.

See "WINAMP.COM | Forums > Winamp > Winamp Technical Support > Winamp Help Web Page" at <http://forums.winamp.com/showthread.php?s=f74a27baea77c6f6c4c9a6db637426c9&threadid=270255> for details.

Reproducible: Always
The page can be viewed, but you get a "No JS" version with link-based navigation.

If I start Winamp and either use F1 or select Help from the pull-down menu, I get the problem that I describe in the cited Forums page.

My configuration is as follows:
Windows XP Home Edition 5.1.2600 Service Pack 2 Build 2600
    (Build 2600.xpsp_sp2_gdr.070227-2254)
Norton Anti-Virus 2005 11.0.16.2
Dial-up connection (56 Kbps)
Mozilla/5.0 (Windows; U; Windows NT 5.1; en-US; rv:1.8.1.4) Gecko/20070509
    SeaMonkey/1.1.2
Cookies for the originating Web site only
No firewall or proxy
Java J2SE RE v.6 (build 1.6.0-b105, file and product versions 6.0.0.105)
Flash 9.0.45.0 (9.0 r45) (but blocked with Flash Blocker)
Extensions:
PrefBar 3.4:
	Unrequested popups suppressed
Images from the originating server only
	FlashBlock enabled
	etc
FlashBlock 1.3.6
Mnenhy 0.7.5
I suggest that someone involved with SeaMonkey review the last two 29 April comments from DJ Egg in the Winamp Forum. DJ Egg is a Winamp person who has been trying to fix the problem . . . unsuccessfully.
The help page loads totally fine for me with a current SeaMonkey trunk build. It's usable and all.
Mozilla/5.0 (Windows; U; Windows NT 5.1; en-US; rv:1.8.1.6) Gecko/20070802 SeaMonkey/1.1.4

This is still a problem for me, indicating that the Winamp Help page has not changed. Please check to make sure that you have not spoofed some other browser by modifying your UA string.

Note that this problem also exists if I spoof Firefox 2.0.0.3 on WindowsXP and Netscape 6 on Linux. The problem is avoided if I spoof IE5 on a Mac or Opera 9 on WindowsXP. Thus, it seems a general problem with Gecko browsers.

I tested the cited Winamp page at <http://validator.w3.org/>. It's valid HTML 4.01 Frameset. Thus, the problem does not lie within Winamp's HTML. Instead, it's a script or server problem.

If it does indeed work with a trunk build without spoofing another browser, then the question is: What was changed in SeaMonkey or Gecko that compensates for Winamp's error?
Summary: Winamp "Help" page cannot be viewed by SeaMonkey → winamp.com - "Help" page cannot be viewed by SeaMonkey
I just now tried the help and did not see the problem while using SeaMonkey 2.0.
