Testcase 1 consists of one circle which is cloned(<use>) 6 times.
Clonded circles are rotated to another position, as you can see it in the Opera 9.2 reference rendering image.
The father of the circles uses a filter (id="filter3279").
Using this filter causes Firefox not to render the image properly. He doesn't  render 4 of the circles.

After commenting out the use of the filter in the SVG image 
/*filter:url(#filter3279);*/
Firefox draws all circles.
