User-Agent: Mozilla/5.0 (Macintosh; U; Intel Mac OS X; en-US; rv:1.8.0.11) Gecko/20070312 Firefox/1.5.0.11 Build Identifier: Mozilla/5.0 (Macintosh; U; Intel Mac OS X; en-US; rv:1.8.0.11) Gecko/20070312 Firefox/1.5.0.11 Site specific to Firefox...when I post a new blog entry at times the post is covered with grey/gray squares. This issue is ongoing and the squares seem to move up posts and then disappear only to reappear a week or so later. If I click on the entry and open it in a new window the squares will go away or if i look at the blog with another browser. Do you have any idea what I can do? I can not give you a link to a particular post because you will not see the squares but if you look today you can see them on the Rozenn Couturier post. Thanks for your time AND HELP amylou stein PS if i repost the entry they are still their even if i completely rewrite the post Reproducible: Always Steps to Reproduce: 1. 2. 3.

HI Matt I have Firefox 1.5.0.11 but this issue is universal to anyone I have asked that uses Firefox...also it will not happen until the page is almost to fully loaded. Thanks so much for your quick response. amylou
I do see a large grey block near the top of the page in Firefox 2.0.0.3 on MacOSX 10.4. I don't see that problem in Firefox 3.0a4 on MacOSX 10.4. I do see a view refresh problem in 3.0a4 though, possibly related to the reported problem. STEPS TO REPRODUCE 1. load URL 2. scroll down, in some place where a Flash object is located there is black empty space Resizing the window slightly makes the Flash object render correctly. It's repeatable even without reloading the page, just scroll up/down a bit and the Flash objects disappear again.

Hi Matt, as far as i know I am running the most up to date Firefox and for osX I am in 10.4.9...Do you have any idea why this would be happening or what I can do about it? Blogger has absolutely NO help at all and when i did ask for help no one responded...one other person did seem to have this problem but they also never wrote me back. I am worried I will lose my small (over a 100 or so people) audience over this! Thanks so much I really appreciate all the help so far. Amylou
Amy, I think the problem is caused by the length of the page. As a test I removed everything from February 24 to the end and that seemed to fix it.
FWIW, the main container of the page is a float with box height of 72184px.
MATS MATS MATS YOU RULE THE PLANET THANK You so very very much...IT WORKED?!?!??! That is awesome! thanks thanks. amylou

This is almost certainly another bug due to widget size overflow...
