For developers, it would be nice to have a way to disable RSS discovery and preview so they can see the raw XML. This should be a hidden pref.
What's wrong with right-click -> View Page Source? It's the same as in the case of HTML pages, so why is it not enough for RSS? What makes it different?
View source is quite different. It doesn't validate the XML and it doesn't provide a true nested XML view. It's just not as friendly.
This is relatively easy to do from an addon, by overriding NS_FEEDSNIFFER_CONTRACTID.
