Details

unable to dnd urls from tbird (or text from textedit) onto the personal toolbar.

when I drop, nothing happens.
WFM on a recent trunk, but I can't determine which bug patch fixed it. I'd think it's the patch for bug 378558, but it works on a tree without that patch applied.

Mozilla/5.0 (Macintosh; U; Intel Mac OS X; en-US; rv:1.9a7pre) Gecko/2007070911 Minefield/3.0a7pre

WORKSFORME?
yes, links from tbird are WFM. however, links from textedit.app don't work. i'm morphing this bug into textedit.app links, and tbird links are now in bug 391835.

STR:
1. open bookmarks.html in textedit.app
2. drag a link to the bookmarks toolbar

Expected: bookmark created on toolbar

Actual: no bookmark created on toolbar
Summary: unable to dnd urls from tbird (or text from textedit) onto the personal toolbar → unable to dnd urls from textedit.app onto the personal toolbar
Bug 451915 - move Firefox/Places bugs to Firefox/Bookmarks and History. Remove all bugspam from this move by filtering for the string "places-to-b-and-h".

In Thunderbird 3.0b, you do that as follows:
Tools | Message Filters
Make sure the correct account is selected. Click "New"
Conditions: Body contains places-to-b-and-h
Change the action to "Delete Message".
Select "Manually Run" from the dropdown at the top.
Click OK.

Select the filter in the list, make sure "Inbox" is selected at the bottom, and click "Run Now". This should delete all the bugspam. You can then delete the filter.
