Details

User-Agent: Mozilla/5.0 (Windows; U; Windows NT 5.1; en-GB; rv:1.8.1.3) Gecko/20070309 Firefox/2.0.0.3 Build Identifier: version 2.0.0.0 (20070326) When I try to send an email with an attachment which is located in a folder with a Russian name, Thunderbird returns an error on send (attaching file to email works fine). Error: --- Unable to open the temporary file Check your temporary directory setting --- Path given in error message has Russian characters substituted with "_" Fix: Set "Language for non-Unicode applications" in Windows XP "Regional and Language" options to Russian. This is still a bug. Thunderbird behaves inconsistently: on the one hand it can attach this file, on the other it fails when sending it. Reproducible: Always Steps to Reproduce: 1. 2. 3.
