User-Agent: Mozilla/5.0 (Windows; U; Windows NT 5.1; en-US; rv:1.8.0.11) Gecko/20070312 Firefox/1.5.0.11 Build Identifier: Windows XP Professional After a computer crash, Thunderbird had to be re-installed. Now, however, it won't accept my password. What do I have to do in order to reinstate it or get a new one? Please answer immediately, because I'm off-line for all practical purposes until I can get Thunderbird working again, because my in box is full and I can't reply. Reproducible: Always Steps to Reproduce: 1.Tried all versions I know, including the one Firefox recognizes. Didn't work. 2. 3. Actual Results: Cannot send e-mail via Thunderbird. The softward should have connected me to popgmx.de, but refuses to accept my password.
Getting new passwords is not in the domain of thunderbird but your email provider. You're probably better off finding configuration support in the knowledge base / forums / other resources linked from http://www.mozilla.org/support/thunderbird/
