However when I go to the url all i hear is a beep and nothing else. My music does not play in the background or does it show the player. It doesn't even tell me if I need additional plugins, all though I should because I have Quicktime Alternative, Windows Media Player, and Real, just too name the popular one. When I open my IE browser(and I dislike very much to use IE) everything is fine. So I could use a little help. PLEASE. Thank you. Corey Reproducible: Always Steps to Reproduce: 1. 2. 3.
This might be Tech Evangelism, but since this is the page author reporting it, that might not be productive. After letting the page for a while (and another audio bit is playing) the status bar says Transferring data from www.fileden.com..., which is the url of the mp3 you're wishing to embed. I would personally recommend taking everything off your page and seeing if the embed works then. If it does, it's conflicting with something else on your page and this really is a Tech Evangelism issue. If not, then it's something I'm not seeing and might be a problem with your code.
sorry i was so **** off (excuse the language) i delete the code and installed some form fileden.com if need be i can put the code back up and wait till u all check it out. if you would like me 2
If you do not wish to pursue this issue because you agree that it was simply conflicting with other applets on the page, that is fine. However, if you do with to continue with this problem, please try what I described in comment 1.
I have this same problem, the embedded music on myspace shows up on other peoples computers, but not on my computer. I can't get any of the embedded music on other peoples pages either. I tried the suggestion in comment#1, but since I get the problem on anybody's page, it didn't make any difference.
I too have this problem, but it only started within the past few days. Suddenly no embedded music will play within Firefox, from ANY website. Not just Myspace. Hell, I even upload an mp3 to a file-holder website and it doesn't work either. I've tried switching profiles to see if it was a setting issue, but to no avail. I've also uninstalled and reinstalled, but that has not worked either. Somehow I get the feeling it is not conflicting apps.
url doesn't exists anymore, closing this bug
