38045 - Unable to enter password along with username in dialog

When mozilla prompts me for a username & password, I cannot enter a password in 
the field.  I get the following error in the debug output:

Gdk-CRITICAL **: file gdkwindow.c: line 1707 (gdk_window_get_parent): assertion 
`window != NULL' failed.

Reproducible: Always
Steps to Reproduce:
1. Visit any password-protected site
2. Attempt to enter the username and password

(If you have any trouble reproducing this, you might try using a brand-
new .mozilla dir -- mine was created by a very recent mozilla.)

 This is probably a dup of bug #27784, which is admittedly kind of
hard to find in normal searches by now.
