380466 - Error selecting application to open downloaded file

When i click to one file to download it, firefox trough a window tell me if i want to open the file, or if i want to save this file.
I choose to open a file (for example a .pdf file). I browse on my file system and i select the application "AcroRead.exe" to open the .pdf file.
I click "OK" button, and it work correctly.
But if in the same web page i open another kind of file (for example a .tex file), i click the link to open the file, and ever firefox trough a "dialog window" tell me if i want to open the file, or if i want to save this file.
I choose to open the file, i browse on my file system and i select the application "Scite.exe". 

The problem is that in the dialog window there is ever the string "AcroRead.exe", and also if i select another time the application "Scite.exe" to open this file, the string "AcroRead.exe" is ever displayed.

But if i click the "OK" button, firefox open the .tex file correctly with the application "Scite.exe"

Windows presents this error primarily when it fails to find the appropriate app to open files. Therefore, first, you should check whether you have the right app installed to open files in this particular format.
