When typing a message in thegreenbutton.com spell checker does not work. Right-click fails to bring up spell checker menu item.

Also, in the same site, when the message box is empty, the cursor in the message box is invisible.

Reproducible: Always

Steps to Reproduce:
1. when on thegreenbutton.com, hit New Post or Reply.
2. In the main message box, the cursor is invisible.
3. In the main message box, the spell checker does not work, and right-click fails to bring up the spell-check menu.

Expected Results:
Spell check work in all other sites I visit, so it should work in thegreenbutton.com as well.

THANKS for the best browser out there!
Confirming; it looks like this is a Midas editor that we aren't detecting for some reason.

The cursor issue is unrelated, and is a Core issue since it happens in Firefox as well.

Stuart, is this bug 357207, or is this somehow Camino-only?

(Or perhaps the disable-by-default stuff that we need bug 348702 to fix/override?)
Ah, yes, it's quite possible that it's that core bug. I want to investigate a bit though since we make enough spell-checking decisions at app level that it's also possible that it's our fault.

It was off by default when I tried in Firefox (intentionally or not, I don't know), so that does point to one or both of those issues.
This WFM now, so either it was bug 357207 and they upgraded their forum, or it was core and trunk fixed it.
