Hrm. Works for me on Linux.
You don't see this with any other images?

Mozilla/5.0 (X11; U; Linux i686; en-US; rv:1.9a5pre) Gecko/20070514 Minefield/3.0a5pre
I was able to get something similar to Ria's screenshot by doing the following:
1. Open the Preferences window.
2. Drag the window upwards so the top of the window is in the middle of the favicon and release.
3. Drag the window downward.
When I drag the window down to show the whole favicon I see a small white line in the favicon where the top of the window used to be.

I suspect the patch to bug 369882 will fix this.
