Crash Data

User-Agent: Mozilla/5.0 (X11; U; Linux i686; en-US; rv:1.9a5pre) Gecko/20070515 Minefield/3.0a5pre
Build Identifier:

After Todays update , I have found that there is no way to type in addressing field as its totally blank while composing or replying. And if i try to forward any message , TB crashes.

See
"http://tinyurl.com/yq9wow" ( compose window with no To/Cc/Bcc field )
"http://tinyurl.com/2fkofg" (Update history)
"http://tinyurl.com/2habvl" ( Message in Error Console )

Reproducible: Always

Steps to Reproduce:
1.Compose/reply to any mail with any account ( POP3/IMAP/NEWS)

Actual Results:
No field to type recipient address

If you select to forward any message , it will crash Thunderbird.
Console returns this error message
"Element not found in SetElementEnabled
/usr/thunderbird/run-mozilla.sh: line 131: 4559 Segmentation fault "$prog" ${1+"$@"}"
Version: unspecified → Trunk
Actually I'm composing in plain text mode . If i set TB to compose in HTML mode , TB crash when I try to compose/forward any mail . Reply doesn't crash TB but addressing field will remain blank .
Nir, does Talkback fire when you crash? If so, can you paste one of the IDs here? http://kb.mozillazine.org/Talkback

bz, any chance this might be related to the patch in bug 379904?
Keywords: crash
Chance, sure. But my Linux build with that patch doesn't show this bug (in either Thunderbird or Seamonkey). So I'd rate it "unlikely".

Actually, bug 53901 seems like a more likely culprit.
Looks like this is going to get addressed over in bug 380872. Duping...
