With the latest nightly build firefox (it begins on monday) crashed after "clic" on the button "clear private date" in the window clear private data.
I got this error both on windows xp and linux (open suse).
On the 2 systems I've to uninstall every things and re install.
Under linux, it works well
My firefox under windows is KO right now.
The startup needs the "master password" to start.
Firefox crashed on the shutdown

Reproducible: Always

Steps to Reproduce:
1.Last build : startup
2.Open some pages
3.Shutdown minefield
4.Check all the check boxes in the "clear private data" - except stored passwords (default option in my parameters
5. Clic on the button "Clear private data"
Actual Results:  
Minefield needs "master password" on startup (before showing anything)
Minefield crashed (talkback application starts) on shutdown


Expected Results:  
Stratup with no master password demand
Minefield shutdown complete

Linux (open suse) : download, untar and use normaly (with -P option)
Until last sunday 13/07, it works well.
I download updates every day.
The last time, the navigation buttons were unavailable. I remove the complete firefox dir, untar a new one. I got the same problem described above
Win XP : the problem came on monday.

Hello,

I didn't get any crash id.
Some of them (crash) had been sent by talk back.

It seems that this (part of) bug is corrected. (last update - 07/05/18))
However, the master password box is always showed at startup.
How it works :
Launch minefield (-P option, use the profile manager)
minefield starts.
It shows the default startup page (http://www.mozilla.org/projects/minefield
The "password window" is opened.
It is impossible to use the browser as long as you haven't type the good password.

May I help you with other informations ?

If you can't reproduce this anymore, you can resolve this bug as WORKSFORME.

Yes, they are stored in the application folder.
