In the UK and UK higher education Apple shop, clicking on an object to get the details plus costings page causes camino to hang. This also happens in firefox on the Mac too. Firefox reports an exception to a flag. Camino sample file attached.

Steps to Reproduce:
1.click on any object on page to get new page containing details, hang

If this happens in Mac Firefox as well (what version?), it should be triaged in Core, although I would recommend the following:

1) Try it with a fresh profile to see if you can reproduce it.
2) Make sure the page isn't a giant mass of HTML tables, which is already a known  bug (although not one that Firefox should exhibit).

From the sample (thanks!), this looks like it's hanging up in Javascript somewhere. Can you confirm that disabling Javascript in either browser fixes the hang (if a fresh profile doesn't fix it)?

Per private e-mail from the reporter, this goes away if Javascript is disabled, but *not* with a fresh profile.

Don't just pick JS because it's on the stack, look at near the top of stack, which has a suspicious, 1.8-branch-only PR_Sleep call from nsXMLHttpRequest::Send:

which code points almost directly to bug 273578. Is this a dup of that bug?

Andy, can you reproduce this bug with Camino 1.5 or a trunk nightly?

What version of Firefox exhibited the problem?

Brendan: thanks for the pointer; I probably never would have found that otherwise. This may well be a duplicate, but I certainly don't know Core well enough to say for sure. (Thus the "kicking to Core for further triage" statement :) )
