381050 - Tabs are blank after extension install restart when using a Master Password

Seen while testing Mozilla/5.0 (Macintosh; U; PPC Mac OS X Mach-O; en-US; rv:1.8.1.4) Gecko/2007051502 Firefox/2.0.0.4. I am testing Mac 10.3.9.

STR:

1. Using my 2004 testing profile, I set a Master Password. I already have several saved passwords for Gmail and Yahoo Mail.
2. Open a series of tabs with content in them.
3. Go to add ons and install an extension of your choice.
4. Retart Firefox using the Restart button in the Addons manager.
5. After FF restarts enter the Master Password information at the prompt.

When the browser restarts, all of my tabs that had content in them no longer do, they are blank. The only tab that came up was the mozilla addons tab.

When I went back and removed the Master Password and followed the same steps, I was able to see content in the tabs.

I have a few extensions installed: AdblockPlus, Autofill, Download Statusbar, Flashgot, Gmail Notifier, Liveclick, TinyURL and Joey.

For the Gmail notifier extension I have auto-login enabled.

Sounds like one of the extensions might have a bad interaction with Session Restore.

I did not get this behavior when I launched with a clean profile, so it might have been an extension. I will try to drill down and identify which one.

Marcia: Have you been able to determine whether an extension was responsible for this issue? If so, please close this bug as WORKSFORME.

Closing as INCOMPLETE until Marcia marks this bug either as WORKSFORME or REOPENs it, should it ever have reappeared since and not been extension related.
