I can't imagine any situation in which someone would want to mark messages *from themselves* as spam. If this is needed for some weird test cases or something, it should be done with right-click menus or the like. Putting a column for something that nobody normally uses just wastes space.

i agree that there most probably is no use to mark one's own sent messages as spam.
on the other hand, if you keep the junk column at the same position as for other folders, it offers a consistent user experience when frequently switching between folders!

I don't think we'd accept extra code to cover this edge case and where the user already has capability to accomplish this.
