There is no simple way to plan accross multiple months, unless by displaying each month seperatly.

I sometimes need to plan events accross multiple months, so a multimonth view would be greatly appreciated.

I would suggest to add the following 2 views:
(1) Multimonth view: allow user to select the number of minimonths to show on the screen.
(2) Year view: display all 365 days of a year at once, by putting the days as columns and the months as rows.

Reproducible: Couldn't Reproduce

Steps to Reproduce:
1. Select view
Actual Results:  
Can only see one month at a time.

Expected Results:  
See multiple months at one glance.
