As of 2007-05-24, the sv-SE Sunbird tinderboxes on 1.8 branch has been burning. According to the log at http://tinderbox.mozilla.org/showlog.cgi?log=Mozilla1.8-l10n/1180027646.23261.gz&fulltext=1 the l10n files used for current builds comes from the SUNBIRD_0_5_RELEASE tag, but the checkout log indicates that there are lots of l10n files that don't have that tag.

Comparing that log with the previous tells me that de, eu, fr, it, mk, mn, nb-NO, pa-IN, pt-BR, and sv-SE are burning because of this.

There are no sv-SE files that have the SUNBIRD_0_5_RELEASE tag, and in de only browser/ and some of calendar/ have it. So something must have gone badly wrong with the tagging.
Flags: blocking-calendar0.5?
I'm not a release driver, but this obviously blocks the 0.5 release and therefore I'm approving the blocking status.

Assigning to lilmatt (since he did the tagging and branching). Also CC'ing Clint.

I compiled a list of those l10n files from locales in /m/c/locales/shipped-locales that do not have three SUNBIRD_0_5_ tags. These would be:

SUNBIRD_0_5_RC1
SUNBIRD_0_5_RELEASE
SUNBIRD_0_5_BRANCH

Do all those tags have to be set for the release to work? If so, those are the files that still need tagging. The strings in parenthesis are those tags that are set.

untagged l10n files

There are no mk, nb-NO, pa-IN, pt-BR, and sv-SE files listed here?.

I took the locales from /m/c/locales/shipped-locales. For the locales you listed, here is a list of files for the locales you mentioned. If those locales are shipped, then maybe they should also be in that file?

If the tinderboxen have produced working builds in the past (which they have), then those locales should IMO be added to shipped-locales. I filed bug 382225 to remedy the situation.
Attached file AWK script to find tags β€”
A quick and dirty script to find files that don't have the relevant tags. I used this to compile the last two attachments.
Missing files have been tagged and tinderboxen are going green
