User-Agent: Mozilla/5.0 (Windows; U; Windows NT 5.1; en-US; rv:1.8.1.3) Gecko/20070309 Firefox/2.0.0.3 Build Identifier: Mozilla/5.0 (Windows; U; Windows NT 5.1; en-US; rv:1.8.1.3) Gecko/20070309 Firefox/2.0.0.3 I cannot get the toolbar that I want without also getting the un-known trojan spyware. Is this harmfull to my PC? Can someone check it out. It is the google toolbar for Firefox by John Woods. This is the toolbar I want without the trojan. I have had it for a while and, for some reason , I had to re-download it and that is when the trojan showed up. If I delete the trojan the toolbar goes away also and it messes the bottom of my monitor screen up. Reproducible: Always Steps to Reproduce: 1.download google toolbar for Firefox 2.get trojan along with it. 3.remove trojan and tollbar goes away also. Actual Results: See above Expected Results: To be able to get the google toolbar fo Firefox without a trojan attached to it. Downloaded clean without a un-known trojan spyware attched to it. This is an add on problem not a Google problem.
I have two different anti spyware to scan for spyware. The first one is Pareto Logic XoftSpySE, it does not pick up the trojan. The second one I have is Bellsouth anti spyware, it is where the trojan shows up during one of Bellsouth scans.
