As for the folder subscription it would be very nice to have a possibility to check a checkbox in the preferences of an account to "automatically select new folders for offline-synchronisation". Very usefull for all people who want to do imap email-/backup/ by using the offline-sync feature of thunderbird. And if you see that there are created only tools to do imap-email-backup, it would be nice to be able to do the same with thunderbird with this little enhancesment I am asking here for. Greetings, tormen. Reproducible: Always Steps to Reproduce: 1. 2. 3.
Sorry I just saw/remembered that there IS such a feature "automatically select newly created folders for offline-reading/synchronisatoin" in the account preferences! BUT... this does not work, if you create the folders remotely, but it should, otherwise the option should be named "autom. select (LOCAL here in thunderbird) newly created folders for ...". ?! Greetings, tormen.
