Steps to reproduce: 1. Cmd+click a bookmark toolbar bookmark pointing at https://mail.google.com/mail/. 2. Wait a few seconds. 3. Switch to the tab. Result: it's scrolled down (past the first 10 messages or so) and the black ">" thing is pointing at the wrong message.
I can confirm this. More details: 3. Switch to the tab after the GMail tab finishes loading. Bug doesn't occur if tab is switched to prior to the finish of the loading.
Happens on vista too, i think you should change the OS to all! Mozilla/5.0 (Windows; U; Windows NT 6.0; en-US; rv:1.9pre) Gecko/2008042906 Minefield/3.0pre Just a note, a very simple way to reproduce is to open gmail in one tab, open another random page in another, then by right-clicking on gmails tab choose to reload the tab, wait till gmail finishes reloading and switch to it, and wallah!
Confirming.
