This seems like Amazon's fault to me, the page actually contains ASCII control characters which is what you're seeing.
Summary: wrong font is displayed (Japanese/Chinese) → ASCII control characters are now displayed on e.g. Amazon Japan
I heard this is related to bug#372629 . so should change status to "INVALID" ?
The attached image is what I get when I go to this URL: http://www.facebook.com/profile.php?id=776200228&hif=19columbus%2C89%0148%2C86%01christian%20-%20episcopalian In the nightly build thread, pal-moz said that what I'm seeing is similar to this bug. Mozilla/5.0 (Windows; U; Windows NT 5.1; en-US; rv:1.9a8pre) Gecko/2007080605 Minefield/3.0a8pre ID:2007080605
Again, that URL actually contains ASCII control characters (specifically %01) so displaying them is expected behaviour IMO.
Assign to evangelization?
Reference my attachment related to the URL bar. I just saw that while browsing Facebook. Mozilla/5.0 (Windows; U; Windows NT 5.1; en-US; rv:1.9pre) Gecko/2008042407 Minefield/3.0pre ID:2008042407
