If I close this window before the spinner stops spinning on the new window it causes the whole thunderbird application to crash. Reproducible: Always Steps to Reproduce: 1. Double click open an RSS message into a new window 2. Close the new window before it finishes loading Actual Results: Thunderbird crashes, closing all windows. Expected Results: Only the new window with the rss article should close. I am using the latest released version on Fedora Core 6. thunderbird-188.8.131.52-4.fc6
Do you get the same problem with an official mozilla.org build? TB 2.0 or higher. If you do, provide the talkback id for the crash. <http://kb.mozillazine.org/Talkback>
I just tried an official build of Thunderbird version 184.108.40.206 (20070326) and this problem is not present in that version.
