When selecting a live bookmark, I have the option to open all of them in tabs.  If the live bookmark contains lots of items, this will easily and quickly make firefox very unhappy (lots of resources used), and dealing with several dozen of open tabs isn't much fun either.

It'd be neat if I could select a number of items in the live bookmark popup, then choose "open selected in tabs".  Regular form selection behaviour such as shift-click to select contiguous items or alt-clicking to select multiple non-contiguous items should be used.

Not sure what "live bookmarks" are and if they are still "a thing" now, but in case it still relevant maybe your feature request would get a better audience in the https://lists.mozilla.org/listinfo/dev-platform mailing list. In case this is no longer required, please close the bug instead.
