Details

All the cool kids are doing it (bug 381776, bug 382218, bug 382150, bug 382217)--and it gets us out of having to grovel to touch allmakefiles on Core-frozen branches if we ever add makefiles again.

Presumably we don't actually have to be a XUL app for this to work, but maybe we do (bug 380846 added this)?
FIXED-on-trunk by bug 381902 some time ago.
