When selecting a Youtube video to play in the same window as Digg using Digg's embedded player, videos do not buffer properly. Sometimes causing the browser to halt.

This has been tested on FF 2.0.0.4 with Fedora 7. Videos from other sites (ie. metacafe) play fine. Navigating to Youtube's website and playing the same video content plays the video fine.

Steps to reproduce:
1. Navigate to www.digg.com/videos using FF 2.0.0.4 and Fedora 7.
2. Click on a video thumbnail for video "Futurama - What if Bender was a human".
3. Watch the video - if you can...

Reproducible: Most of the time with Youtube videos
This problem is been confirmed to occur on 2004 and Ubuntu Feisty (7.04), but works on Fedora Core 6.

I don't think this is necessarily just a Fedora bug. I can reproduce the conditions you guys are describing, but on Windows: High CPU usage, choppy video, and menu lagging.

Steps to reproduce:
1.) Go to
http://digg.com/political_opinion/Glenn_Beck_Federal_Reserve_Free_Money_and_AngryRenter_com
2.) Click on the image that says "play" to bring up the video on top of current
page (make sure you aren't blocking any relevant scripts).
3.) If video doesn't start automatically, click play.
4.) Look at CPU usage in Task Manager and try browsing Firefox menus while
video is playing
I cannot duplicate this at all with latest trunk. However I am using fedora 6. Is this still an issue?
