If you change the starting day of the week to another day the small calendar in the left-panel still starts on Sunday.
Reproducible: Always
Steps to Reproduce:
1. Install normally
2. Change "Start the week on" to Monday
3. Notice how the calendar in the left-panel still starts on Sunday.
Actual Results:
The calendar in the left-panel still starts with Sunday.
Expected Results:
The calendar should start with Monday.

Confirmed using Thunderbird 2.0.0.0 (20070326)and Lightning 0.5 RC1. Workaround: Thunderbird need restart

Indeed. Restarting Thunderbird does the trick. (With Lightning 0.3.1.)

I'm not sure if it should block calendar 0.5 release. Mini- calendar should work properly snd it doesn't.

I don't think this needs to block. There is a quite easy workaround.

In my opinion this is neither a blocker bug nor a topic for the release notes.
The minimonth still works properly after changing the preference and during restart the preference is correctly applied.

So make a notice at the menu which says something like that you have to restart Thunderbird to have a an effect.

Works for me too using Thunderbird 2.0.0.15pre (2008051204) and Lightning 0.9pre (2008050820).
