383013 - Incorrect Font Selection for Arabic

Many Arabic pages are rendered in User's chosen fonts as if "Always use my fonts" in preference menu is checked (even-though it is not).

That behavior would be accepted in the case when the fonts used by the page are not installed in the system. But it is considered as a bug when the fonts are available in the system and the browser does not make use of them.

Also, changing the user's fonts for Arabic sites does not take affect on some other sites, such as mac4arabs.com/forums, even by checking "Always use my fonts".

Reproducible: Always

Steps to Reproduce:
1. Visit some Arabic sites
2. Open Preferences->Appearance->Fonts->Arabic
3. Alter the fonts and notice the affects on pages.


Expected Results:  
The page's text is displayed in the font chosen by the page's designer when that font is installed on Mac OS X system.
The page's text is displayed in the user's fonts set in Preference window when the page's fonts are not available in Mac OS X system.
Checking "Always use my fonts" in preference window force the text in any page to be displayed the user's fonts.

This is all due to bug 246527, which prevents Gecko from recognizing Arabic fonts.  Setting your Arabic font prefs to other than Lucida Grande and Monaco will actually cause some sites to render as gibberish.

That bug is fixed on the trunk, but other new nasty bugs with Arabic fonts exist there (bug 361986) :(
