I'm using a webapp that popule a select multiple combo and show a empty select multiple combo. In empty select after the last update of firefox 2.0.0.4 began the appear the text 'XX' into the select when it is empty (<select name="test"></select>). The problem does not occur in previus versions

Reproducible: Always

Steps to Reproduce:
1. Start the page with a hidden div that contains a empty select
2. With javascript change the div to visible (pressing a button for example)

Actual Results:  
The select is appear with the text XX

Expected Results:  
The select empty

The page is created with the spring mvc and velocity engine
