Build Identifier: SeaMonkey 1.1.2
I closed the email window but the mail application did not shut down properly and was still running in the background. When I re-opened SeaMonkey it missed the "Profile" choice and opened immediately, showing that it had not closed properly.
This has happened two times since I loaded the new 1.1.2 update. It has never happened with earlier versions.
Reproducible: Couldn't Reproduce
Steps to Reproduce:
1.
2.
3.
Expected Results:
SeaMonkey should have closed. When opened again it should have displayed the user profile choice (between my wife and myself).
The similar behaivour I am menitoning too. The Mail & Newsgroup setting window after opening is not closed after pressing ok. It happens everytime. Tried to restart the SeaMonkey but it happens all time.

do you still see the problem using newer version?
and do you see high CPU in task manager, as in bug 272489?

No, the problem disappeared with the next version.I am now up to version 1.1.8 and generally very happy with it.
With high CPU I got rid of a couple of programs that were also causing high usage: Adobe Reader v 7.0 and AdAware 2007, (I think!). No more CPU problems since then.
