When i try to install on GP 1.9a5 (Mozilla/5.0 (Windows; U; Windows NT 5.1; en-US; rv:1.9a5) Gecko/2007060601 GranParadiso/3.0a5) the Nightly Tester Tool from Mossops Site (http://www.oxymoronical.com/web/firefox/nightly) i get in the error console the error:

[Exception... "'Component does not have requested interface' when calling method: [nsIInterfaceRequestor::getInterface]" nsresult: "0x80004002 (NS_NOINTERFACE)" location: "<unknown>" data:no]

Also after a while the information about an incompatible extension, like expected.

This appears to happen for any extension where the update.rdf is on an unreachable site (NTT's times out at the moment).

Pretty sure this is fallout from bug 373393 which changed a getInterface from effectively returning null to throwing.

Will look deeper later.

Also a duplicate of bug 374499?
