Build Identifier: version 2.0.0.0 (20070326)

I Thunderbird there is currently no way to direct messages to a specific folder based upon which POP3 server it was downloaded from. In Kmail, Eveolution, and other clients one can specify to which folder incoming mail from a particular server is delivered. In Thunderbird, one can only specify to which account the mail is delivered, but not a specific folder in that account (Account Settings -> $ACCOUNT -> Server Settings -> Advanced -> "Inbox for different account"). Additionally, filters are no good for this as there is no filter option for server.

To clarify, I have a main server, http://what-is-what.com that I pull mail from and it goes into the account named Main. I also pull mail from http://mail.anotherserver.com and it gets delivered into the Main inbox. I am adding http://mail.yetAnotherServer.com but I need the mail to be delivered to the folder "important" which is a subfolder of Main. This is
 currently impossible in Tbird.
Thanks in advance.

Reproducible: Always

Steps to Reproduce:
1. Open Server Settings
2. Try to configure mail delivery based upon server.
3. Get frustrated!
Actual Results:
There is no option to configure that mail should be delivered to a particular folder.

Expected Results:
I expect that I could configure that mail from a particular server will be delivered to a particular folder.

Thank you.
Didn't try, but filtering on the X-Account-Key header should probably do it.
Thanks. But there should also be a more intuitive way of doing it. It's a common mail client feature.

Sorry, I searched but did not find that bug.
Status: RESOLVED → VERIFIED
I did not mean to mark this as verified. I'm on a computer without vimperator and I'm using the mouse. What an annoying interface device that thing is!
