Hi,

I send an e-mail with questions about availebility of a certain processor to a Web computer shop in the Netherlands. I got back a reply but was unable to read it because the contents was not shown. At first I thought that the e-mail was indeed empty, but after replying again, I received an other "empty" e-mail.
When I saved it as a .eml file to include it in an other mail to this shop, I looked at the contents with an ASCII viewer, and was able to read the body.

Ik wil bij jullie een motherboard met toebehoren (Memory, CPU, Harddisk)
bestellen maar kan niet de processor vinden die ik er op wil hebben.
Dit betreft de 35 W versie van de AMD Athlon 64 X2 EE 3800+, PIB:
ADD3800CUBOX. (Jullie hebben deze processor wel in 65 en 89 W versie).

Gaarne hoor ik of jullie deze processor ook kunnen leveren.

This looks like a multipart alternative message embedded within a multi-part mixed message, I assume because the virus checker wrapped the original multipart alternative message in a multipart mixed wrapper. I don't know if the problem is because of a bug in Thunderbird's mime code, or if the virus checker generated an incorrectly formatted mime message.

When I look at the message, I'm shown the virus checker's text - "No virus found in this incoming message..."

I could not find out how to attach it, so I did a copy-paste of the contents.

I checked with 1.0 and 1.5 and they both also fail to display the message.

If i say in options Forward as Attachments. Will the mmessage with the content be received by the reader in readable format.
