User-Agent: Mozilla/5.0 (Windows; U; Windows NT 5.1; en-US; rv:1.8.1.4) Gecko/20070515 Firefox/2.0.0.4 Build Identifier: Mozilla/5.0 (Windows; U; Windows NT 5.1; en-US; rv:1.8.1.4) Gecko/20070515 Firefox/2.0.0.4 When I execute python scripts that generate plain text, instead of seeing their output, an "Open ..." dialog opens asking me if I want to save it or run it with an application on my computer. This is a new behavior with the latest version of Firefox. It used to work fine. There is no such problem in IE. The workaround is to have the script output "<!DOCTYPE html PUBLIC "-//W3C//DTD HTML 4.01 Transitional//EN">" as the fist line, then FireFox displays it fine. Reproducible: Always Steps to Reproduce: 1. Go to link above 2. 3. Actual Results: see screenshot: http://www.hybrids-plus.com/misc/dialog.jpg Expected Results: podcast.py - start podcast.py - done
