If you uninstall Vista on a 2.0.0.x build then attempt to load a flash site (youtube, for example) the auto-install .xpi fails to install and sends the user to a manual install URL where they have to download the install.exe manually.

This is not a good user experience and we should fix this. Can someone help debug? I think this might be a Vista security feature. It is preventing the manipulation of plugin files, particularly actions defined here in the Flash .xpi Adobe provides:
http://fpdownload.macromedia.com/get/flashplayer/xpi/current/flashplayer-win.xpi

I will attach the XML produced by PFS at the URL attached to the bug (see URL field).
Known, ugly, I'm working on it.

Ok, thanks. Searched for flash+vista but didn't see a dupe right away.
