Last night I downloaded Firefox on my iMac and today when I got home from work, the icon on both the Dock and the Desktop was gone.  Is there a time limit or what should I do.

Did you click "Keep in Dock" on with the right-click menu of firefox dock icon while firefox was running?
The disappearance of icon from desktop may be due to disk image being unmounted after you turned off or rebooted the computer.

No reply from reporter, INCOMPLETE. Please retest with Firefox 3.6.12 or later and a new profile (http://support.mozilla.com/kb/Managing+profiles). If you continue to see this issue with the newest firefox and a new profile, then please comment on this bug.
