Details

User-Agent: Mozilla/5.0 (Windows; U; Windows NT 5.0; en-US; rv:1.8.1.4) Gecko/20070515 Firefox/2.0.0.4
Build Identifier: Mozilla/5.0 (Windows; U; Windows NT 5.2; en-US; rv:1.8.1.4) Gecko/20070515 Firefox/2.0.0.4

 - I start FF
 - it informs me that an update to v2.0.0.3 is available
 - I click "Download & Install"
 - it downloads and restarts
 - FF start and displays the message "You've Updated To The Latest Version of Firefox"

Which is of course wrong, since 2.0.0.4 is out for weeks (months?).

(later I manually started an update to 2.0.0.4)

Reproducible: Didn't try
OS is Windows 2003 SP1
Firefox 2.0.0.4 was released end of may, see http://developer.mozilla.org/devnews/index.php/2007/05/30/firefox-2004-and-firefox-15012-security-and-stability-update/

From your Useragent it seems you have Firefox 2.0.0.4 installed.

Do you mean with this bug report you get a kind of downgrade offer to Firefox 2.0.0.3 or still a update information to update to Firefox 2.0.0.4 ?
OS: Other → Windows XP
Version: unspecified → 2.0 Branch
No, I had an older version (older than 2.0.0.3, I guess it was 2.0.0.2, I don't remember any more).

Instead of upgrading to 2.0.0.4 it was upgraded only to 2.0.0.3 and claimed it is the latest version.
It sounds hardly to the issue I reported in bug 353804.
