I realize this can be done from the bookmark manager, but it would be nice if you could reorder the bookmark bar, including the overflow bookmarks, directly from the browser UI.  It's easy to do this via the click and drag approach for any bookmark currently displayed on the bookmark bar, but it is impossible to click and drag anything from the overflow bookmark drop down menu to the visible section of the bookmark bar.

"About Firefox" would be ideal)?

Bret, do you see similar behavior using a trunk build? It's unlikely that this will be fixed on the branch, unless it's a regression.

Hey Gavin, the current trunk build is still behaving badly.  I cannot click and drag any of the overflow bookmarks along the bookmark bar.  Clicking and holding activates the bookmark.  Also, you cannot right click on the overflow bookmarks and bring up the bookmark drop down menu.

Ah, it looks like on the trunk, this is a combination of bug 383067 and bug 389661. I think there might already be other bugs on this already.

Just checked the new nightly.  You can now click and drag the overflow bookmarks to the main bookmark bar.  You still cannot right click on the overflow bookmarks to bring up the options menu.  This functionality doesn't exist in FF2.0, so I suppose it's an enhancement.

Bug 451915 - move Firefox/Places bugs to Firefox/Bookmarks and History. Remove all bugspam from this move by filtering for the string "places-to-b-and-h".

In Thunderbird 3.0b, you do that as follows:
Tools | Message Filters
Make sure the correct account is selected. Click "New"
Conditions: Body   contains   places-to-b-and-h
Change the action to "Delete Message".
Select "Manually Run" from the dropdown at the top.
Click OK.

Select the filter in the list, make sure "Inbox" is selected at the bottom, and click "Run Now". This should delete all the bugspam. You can then delete the filter.
