Not sure what other think of this... When we release a new version of Camino, specifically a security/stability update, I think we should make the download bar on the main page yellow or some other noticeable color to make sure our users know it's out.
Yep. But would it be reasonable to change the color of the text on the bar as well? It doesn't stand out well on yellow, I don't think.

I've made some changes - have another look!
Overall I like it. The yellow bars make it look like it's a development build, however. If those are removed, I'd say it's good. The more I thought about it, the more I thought red might be a good color to try too. I know red is nice and bold, but given the severity of a lot of our security releases, I think it's important for the download bar to be the most noticeable thing on the page for users of older builds. I'll leave the decision up to you.
I'm going to take this since Jon is fairly busy (and I, of course, have lots of time on my hands...). I'll base it on the design in comment 1, removing the bars but keeping it yellow as said in comment 4. I'll also use the JS rewrite of our detection scripts to do this in a better way than we're currently doing things.

Not WONTFIX. I'd like to call it out somehow. Maybe we can draw a huge red arrow toward it or something ridiculous and obvious? :)
