Sidebar spam folders were established but Thunderbird stopped running in the middle of message retrieval and the computer had to be turned off and restarted to finish retrieval. Also, the top toolbar disappeared and had to be manually restored from the view menu for Thunderbird message screen. Frequency: Happened Once Reproducible: Didn't try Steps to Reproduce: 1. 2. 3. Expected Results: Thunderbird should not have stopped message retrieval and tool bar should not have disappeared
Sounds more like a bug in mcafee (which should not interfere with tb).
Bug has been reported to McAfee and they are working on it - Quentin Johnson
